Kraków-based opportunity with hybrid work model (minimum 6 office days per month, up to 4 remote days per week).

As a Mid-Level Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading global banking institution. In this role, you will be instrumental in safeguarding bank's sensitive information assets by monitoring, managing, and responding to DLP incidents across a sophisticated cybersecurity framework. Your main responsibilities:

  • Monitor and protect bank's internal, restricted, and highly restricted data using global DLP tools and quarantine solutions.
  • Follow established processes throughout the security incident response lifecycle and manage escalation procedures.
  • Support and coordinate DLP incident responses by collaborating with local, regional, and global teams.
  • Facilitate smooth handovers and support shift transitions within a 24x7 operational environment.
  • Engage with stakeholders across business units to support incident remediation efforts.
  • Contribute to policy refinement to decrease false positives and optimize DLP accuracy.
  • Identify automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Recognize risks and vulnerabilities, providing actionable, cost-effective recommendations.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with DLP tools such as Symantec, Zscaler, Microsoft Purview, or CASB.
  • Deep understanding of incident detection, monitoring, and triage processes.
  • Proven experience in policy creation, fine-tuning, and data lifecycle management.
  • Strong knowledge of DLP event analysis and incident response procedures.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills and ability to operate across cross-cultural teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Fluent in English (spoken, read, and written).
  • Good knowledge of GDPR and banking security standards.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and IT platforms.
  • Flexibility to support operational needs within a 24x7 working environment.

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Certifications related to cybersecurity or data protection.
  • Experience with automation tools within security operations.

Language Required for the role:

  • Fluent English (spoken, read, and written).
