Krakow-based opportunity with a hybrid work model, allowing up to 4 remote days per week.
As a Senior UX/UI Research & Design Specialist – Cybersecurity, you will be working for our client, a leader in cybersecurity solutions dedicated to enhancing user experience and protection on a global scale. You will focus on user research and problem understanding to craft intuitive, accessible, and impactful digital experiences for a worldwide network of users. This role offers a unique chance to drive meaningful innovation at the intersection of user needs and cybersecurity technology.
Your main responsibilities:
- Design, plan, and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing) to gather deep insights.
- Analyze user behaviors, pain points, and needs, translating research findings into actionable design improvements.
- Develop research protocols, scripts, and questions to extract meaningful insights and validate user personas.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize research activities aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Define problem statements based on research insights to foster a shared understanding among cross-functional teams.
- Create journey maps, user flows, and empathy maps to illustrate user experiences and surface friction points.
- Advocate for user needs throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring usability and accessibility are central to design solutions.
- Conduct usability testing to validate and iterate on design prototypes.
- Maintain organized repositories of research data, personas, and problem statements for reference and ongoing updates.
- Monitor user feedback post-release to ensure solutions effectively address root problems and improve user satisfaction.
- Define success metrics for UX initiatives to assess impact on user experience and business objectives.
- Stay updated on UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve design and research processes.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in UX/HCI, cognitive psychology, graphic design, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design with a strong focus on user research and problem-solving.
- Fluent command of English (both written and verbal).
- Proven experience conducting end-to-end user research.
- Hands-on expertise collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as product managers, developers, and stakeholders.
- A portfolio demonstrating at least three design projects involving complex applications.
- Proficiency in UX tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
- Experience creating low- and high-fidelity prototypes and wireframes.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or React.
- Background working within complex, technical, or cybersecurity-related industries.
Language Required for the role:
- Fluent English (both written and verbal).
