Mid-Level Java Developer – Counterparty Credit Risk Platform

As a Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading global bank committed to transforming financial services through innovative technology. You will contribute to building the next generation of Counterparty Credit Risk Engines, supporting the team’s migration to Cloud platforms and developing in-house analytic libraries to enhance risk assessment capabilities across worldwide clients.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code to support CCR applications.
• Contribute to the full product lifecycle, from problem discovery and prototyping to implementation and adoption measurement.
• Collaborate closely with team members across Europe and Asia, ensuring seamless communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Support platform operations by resolving incidents, monitoring systems, and managing problems.
• Assist in the migration to Cloud platforms, ensuring smooth transition and integration.
• Apply DevOps best practices to optimize deployment and monitoring processes.
• Translate functional requirements into scalable, technical solutions aligned with agile methodologies.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 2+ years of experience in a business analysis or related role, with a focus on risk management or financial services.
• Basic programming skills, especially in Java.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Self-motivation and a keen willingness to learn new technologies and business domains.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices.
• Good grasp of agile processes and techniques.
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of traded risk, OTC clearing, or related financial areas.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Apache Beam, Apache Flink, GCP, Redis, REST APIs, Ansible, or Jenkins.

Language Required for the role:

Good command of English (fluent level).
