Ignite transformation in cloud-native ecosystems — lead innovative teams to redefine high-performance platforms!
Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model.
As a Tech Leader, you will be working for our client, a forward-thinking organization committed to transitioning from vendor-dependent, high-cost platforms toward a resilient, open-source ecosystem built on GCP. You will be pivotal in shaping scalable, secure, and efficient systems within a polyglot environment, bringing a strategic vision to life while fostering innovation and best practices.
Your main responsibilities:
- Drive technical orchestration by aligning business strategies with robust architectural execution.
- Champion DevSecOps practices by automating compliance, managing risks, and defining standards of delivery.
- Manage day-to-day operations, oversee sprint health, remove technical blockers, and promote high-quality feature delivery.
- Perform hands-on support through code reviews, debugging infrastructure-as-code, and troubleshooting production issues.
- Advocate for open-source solutions, guiding the team in selecting and implementing the best tools to replace proprietary platforms.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 10+ years of software development experience, with recent hands-on expertise in at least two of: Java, Python, Node.js, or Go.
- Deep knowledge of Google Cloud infrastructure — GKE, Cloud Run, Identity-Aware Proxy, and Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL).
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams (Frontend, Backend, SRE) using Agile methodologies.
- Strong ability to identify architectural risks, dependencies, and stakeholder management.
- Practical experience implementing security-first delivery, managing secrets, container security, and compliance-as-code.
- Proficiency with DORA metrics to drive continuous improvement.
It’s a strong plus if you have:
- FinTech or Security background, especially within regulated environments focused on “Security by Design.”
- Experience in cost management, optimizing GCP spend and resource allocation.
- A holistic approach to complex problem-solving.
Language required for the role: Fluent English.
Eligibility to work in: Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role.
