As a Mid-Level Data Analyst specializing in Cybersecurity and Azure Data Lake, you will be working for our client, a global leader in cybersecurity within the banking sector. You will contribute to enabling the firm to operate securely worldwide by developing advanced analytics within a Cyber Azure Data Lake environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on big datasets, deliver actionable insights, and drive impactful security initiatives while advancing your expertise in a dynamic, innovative team.
Your main responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth analysis of large, complex datasets to extract valuable insights and identify data quality issues.
- Develop efficient, reusable scripts to collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources, supporting automation and analytics workflows.
- Visualize findings through dashboards, charts, and reports, presenting complex information clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with reporting stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure data solutions align with operational goals.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes, methodologies, and insights.
- Apply best software development practices, including DevOps and test-driven development, to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Work within Agile teams to continually improve data pipelines and analytics processes.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data analysis, with strong proficiency in Python and SQL programming.
- Experience with developing data pipelines and performing analysis on Azure Databricks platform.
- Strong data visualization skills using Power BI.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- Enthusiasm to deepen your understanding of Cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile environments.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience working with big data and data science frameworks, especially PySpark and Spark SQL.
Language required for the role:
- Fluent English.
