Senior Business Systems Analyst

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading entity in the banking and financial services industry.
You will play a pivotal role in analyzing complex banking processes, designing innovative microservice-based solutions, and collaborating in agile teams to deliver cutting-edge digital transformation projects. This position offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise in financial systems, architecture, and requirements management while supporting impactful banking initiatives.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with bank departments to analyze and define detailed business requirements, supporting users throughout the process.
• Develop functional and system solutions, including process modeling, UI wireframes, and business rule specifications.
• Participate in technical solution design, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical constraints.
• Support testing activities by creating test cases and coordinating the validation process for regulatory and functional compliance.
• Work closely with developers, testers, and product owners in agile (SCRUM) environments to refine user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Model IT systems using UML and CASE tools, such as Enterprise Architect, to visualize and validate system architecture.
• Design and document REST APIs and microservices, utilizing Swagger/OpenAPI specifications for clear and comprehensive API contracts.
• Use SQL queries for data validation, ensuring data integrity and adherence to business requirements.
• Support and lead analytical streams in large-scale banking development projects, including process design and system integration.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in system analysis within banking or financial environments.
• Strong knowledge of requirements gathering using BABOK/IIBA methodologies.
• Proficiency in UML, BPMN, and modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect.
• Practical experience with microservices architecture, REST/SOAP web services, and APIs.
• Good command of SQL for data validation and system verification.
• Experience designing banking credit processes and working with distributed system architectures.
• Strong knowledge of integration protocols like SOA, Web Services and related tools such as Postman and SOAP UI.
• Excellent communication skills in Polish (fluent) and English (communicative).
• Ability to work independently, lead analytical streams, and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in the banking credit domain.
• Certifications in UML, API design, or related frameworks.

Language required for the role:

• Polish: Fluent
• English: Communicative level (B2 or above)
