Senior Full Stack Developer – Java, Spring, APIs

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the financial industry, focusing on enhancing client connectivity. You will participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from analysis to production support, helping to build resilient, secure, and scalable systems that support strategic growth initiatives. Your main responsibilities:

• Translate strategic objectives into robust technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs for growth, management, and control.
• Take ownership of end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of software features, adhering to high-quality standards.
• Support Agile and Waterfall delivery processes by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, analysts, and architects.
• Actively identify and reduce technical debt, fostering technical excellence and digital evolution.
• Work directly with stakeholders and solution architects to clarify requirements and shape solutions aligned with architectural standards.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving.
• Contribute to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, and operational readiness.
• Engage in support activities, such as incident investigation, problem management, and implementing preventive improvements.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 6+ years of experience in software development within a combination of Waterfall and Agile environments.
• Strong back-end development skills, particularly with Java, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with databases such as Oracle, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Proven expertise in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Familiarity with development and delivery tools like Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Git/GitHub, SonarQube, and Ansible.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as JUnit.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD), and Agile Control Framework.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor colleagues and elevate engineering practices through example.
• Forward-thinking mindset, capable of making strategic technical decisions with a strong sense of accountability.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Front-end development experience.
• Exposure to Spring Cloud and/or MuleSoft.
• Development experience with Seeburger BIS, EDI, or related technologies.
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, and containerisation tools like Docker.
• Background in production support and service reliability improvement.

• Good command of English, communicative proficiency.
