AI Coding Assistant Technical Integration Engineer

As an AI Coding Assistant Technical Integration Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution, dedicated to implementing cutting-edge AI solutions to enhance software development processes. You will play a key role in integrating AI-based coding assistants into the technical environment, ensuring seamless deployment, scalability, and performance optimization. Your expertise in AI, data science, and DevSecOps principles will be critical in driving the success of this initiative. You will collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and researchers to fine-tune models, deploy scalable services, and create custom extensions to support diverse development platforms.

Your main responsibilities: Leading the end-to-end technical integration of AI-based coding assistants into the existing development ecosystem

• Deploying and supporting AI-based coding assistant services on-premises and in cloud environments
• Applying AI and data science expertise to fine-tune and optimize open-source coding assistant models
• Integrating existing coding assistant plugins into developer environments and designing custom extensions
• Collaborating with AI research teams to experiment with and evaluate open-source models
• Implementing monitoring and logging mechanisms to track performance and usage of AI coding assistants
• Working closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and technical teams to ensure successful integration
• Creating comprehensive technical documentation, including integration guides and best practices
• Staying updated with the latest trends in AI and data science to recommend process improvements
• Ensuring authentication, entitlements, and access management for seamless interoperability

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Extensive hands-on experience in AI, data science, and technical integration
• Proven ability to deploy and support AI solutions in complex environments
• Proficiency in developing extensions and APIs for software integration
• Strong experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development practices
• Familiarity with continuous integration and DevSecOps principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud deployment strategies
• Prior experience in the financial sector or other regulated industries

It is a strong plus if you have:

• An advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with fine-tuning AI models for software development applications
• Experience with commercial AI SaaS solutions and vendor comparisons
• Understanding of authentication, entitlements, and access management frameworks

• Familiarity with developer productivity tools and IDE plugins
