As a Cloud Engineer (DevOps & Cloud Administration), you will join a leading organization in the online banking sector that specializes in developing secure, cloud-based data platforms supporting large-scale analytics and mission-critical services. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining modern cloud environments that ensure high availability, security, and scalability. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will automate infrastructure, optimize deployment pipelines, and support the ongoing evolution of cloud-native solutions, driving digital transformation and operational excellence.
Your main responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based data warehouse and analytics environments
- Build secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructures across public, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments
- Collaborate with delivery teams from solution design through deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement
- Design and execute internal software and infrastructure tests to ensure quality
- Develop and maintain infrastructure monitoring solutions for cloud applications, services, and environments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management processes using industry-standard tools
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions, optimizing CI/CD pipelines (using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Ansible)
- Deploy, manage, and support containerized applications with Kubernetes and Docker
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and application issues promptly
- Create comprehensive technical and functional documentation
- Promote best practices in cloud platform management and provide technical guidance for project teams
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related technical field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working within complex data processing environments, such as data warehouses or analytics platforms
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- At least 1 year of experience as a database administrator
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipeline development using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Ansible
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Ansible
- Solid knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container registries
- Proficiency with Git and experience using Jira and Confluence
- Experience working in regulated enterprise environments
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
- Experience migrating on-prem systems to the cloud
- Basic networking knowledge (LAN/WAN, Firewalls, Load Balancers, HTTP(S), SSH, TCP/IP, REST, SOAP)
- Familiarity with Hadoop technologies (HDFS, Hive, Pig, Spark) or Machine Learning platforms such as Kubeflow
- Cloud certifications (Azure or GCP preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivation and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a positive attitude
- Willingness to continuously learn and develop
Language Required for the role:
- Polish: Fluent (spoken and written)
- English: Communicative proficiency
