Junior IT Analyst

Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month).

As a Junior IT Analyst, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, on a project involving designing and creating data marts, collaborating on prototypes for ETL implementation, gathering and aligning business requirements, and providing recommendations for both business and technological solutions.

Your main responsibilities: Designing and creating data marts

• Collaborating on prototypes for ETL implementation
• Gathering and aligning business requirements
• Analyzing data using SQL and Data Lineage
• Documenting functional data sources
• Developing data processing algorithms
• Testing IT solutions
• Supporting business tests
• Maintaining documentation and algorithm repositories
• Creating solutions using Business Intelligence tools

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• A degree in a related field or in the final year of studies, preferably in computer science, computer science and econometrics, mathematics, quantitative methods, or related fields
• A strong willingness to expand knowledge
• Basic knowledge of relational databases
• Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel
• Strong communication skills and openness to teamwork
• Good organizational skills, commitment to quality work, and attention to detail
• Initiative and enthusiasm for acquiring new knowledge and skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Skills in gathering system and business requirements and the ability to identify alternative solutions to defined problems
• Experience working with databases, knowledge of GNU R, Jupyter
• Knowledge in the field of finance, accounting, or banking
