As a Manual Tester – Web and Mobile Applications, you will be working for our client in the financial services sector, specifically within the Brokerage Office.
You will play a crucial role in testing the usability and functionality of digital channels used by thousands of clients, ensuring top-tier quality and performance. Your main responsibilities:
- Test the functionality of digital channels from an end-user (GUI) perspective, ensuring usability and performance.
- Execute functional and regression tests during sprint deliveries, supporting the development team in verifying ongoing changes.
- Verify implementation compliance with business acceptance criteria and identify, document, and verify application errors.
- Collaborate with developers to analyze root causes of issues and validate fixes.
- Prepare, maintain, and update testing documentation and reports on test results and quality metrics.
- Identify missing test cases, propose enhancements, and communicate findings to business owners.
- Report issues beyond current development scope, including external system configurations.
- Work closely with business partners, analysts, developers, administrators, and external solution providers to ensure quality standards.
- Be prepared to work across two teams simultaneously, fluently transitioning between Web and Mobile project tasks.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manual testing of web or mobile applications.
- Practical knowledge of software testing processes and techniques.
- Experience designing and executing test scenarios.
- Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Xray, TestRail).
- Strong analytical skills to interpret business requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Ability to identify problems and report effectively.
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Proactive organization, independence, and clear communication skills.
- Communicative level of English language skills.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience within the financial or brokerage sector.
- Knowledge of capital markets and investment processes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Basic SQL skills.
- Experience testing mobile applications.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification.
Language Required for the role:
Polish – Good command of the language.
