As a Mid-Level Kotlin/Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a leader in building robust software solutions for development controls and compliance management. Join a cutting-edge platform that enables control owners and development teams to seamlessly manage and monitor their software development processes, fostering innovation and operational excellence.
Your main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement front-end and back-end features for microservice-based applications.
- Build innovative APIs and microservices to address impactful business needs.
- Contribute to the deployment and maintenance of applications within an agile CI/CD environment, ensuring rapid and reliable deliveries.
- Proactively engage with customers to resolve issues and incorporate feedback into new features.
- Participate in peer reviews and automated testing to uphold high-quality standards.
- Work on Kotlin and Java-based web applications, contributing to multiple projects and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Support the evolution of cloud-native solutions, leveraging modern coding techniques.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Kotlin or Java.
- Proven expertise in API development, SQL/databases, and HTML/Javascript.
- Solid troubleshooting skills and familiarity with microservice architecture.
- Experience working in Agile teams, using Jira and Confluence.
- Good understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Previous experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and test automation is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with good command of English (B2+).
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Background in systems administration across Linux, AIX, or WebSphere platforms.
- Knowledge of Jenkins pipelines and test automation frameworks.
Language required for the role: English (Communicative level).
