As a Senior Mobile Test Automation Engineer, you will be working for our client, a dynamic leader in IT and mobile technology solutions. You will contribute to building high-quality mobile releases by designing, developing, and maintaining state-of-the-art automated testing frameworks, ensuring excellence across diverse device platforms. Your main responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated mobile tests using BDD (Cucumber), Java, and Selenium.
• Develop and enhance the automated test suite to ensure robustness and reliability.
• Perform manual and exploratory testing for scenarios where automation isn't suitable, such as usability and edge cases.
• Create comprehensive test cases for web and mobile applications, covering various OS versions, devices, and form factors.
• Execute unit and functional tests across cross-platform user journeys, identifying gaps and risks.
• Collaborate closely with developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to track, log, and retest defects using Jira.
• Generate detailed reports on testing progress, quality metrics, and potential risks.
• Support continuous testing and quality improvement initiatives within the Agile team environment.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with test automation frameworks such as Cucumber and Selenium for mobile testing.
• Strong programming skills in Java with a focus on maintainability and best practices.
• Hands-on experience testing on both iOS and Android devices, including real devices and device farms.
• Proficiency with API testing (manual and automated), GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Jira.
• Good understanding of client/server interactions, APIs, and network behavior.
• Ability to create effective test cases and execute tests across multiple devices and operating systems.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Appium, accessibility testing, or performance testing.
• Knowledge of analytics and tagging validation for mobile apps.
• Familiarity with testing environments for large projects (over 25 team members).
• Interest in mobile technology and demonstrated awareness of different devices and OS versions.
