Mid-Level Product Analyst – Compliance and SDLC Standards

As a Mid-Level Product Analyst – Compliance and SDLC Standards, you will be working for our client, a global leader in banking and financial services. In this role, you will help ensure that HSBC Technology's developer experience aligns with regulatory standards and internal controls, focusing on delivering frictionless, compliant solutions throughout the SDLC. Your main responsibilities:

• Understand customer problems and needs related to SDLC standards and controls strategies.
• Collaborate with developers, technical leads, and stakeholders to develop effective solutions.
• Write clear functional requirements, system process descriptions, and design specifications.
• Design user-centric solutions by analyzing customer behavior and minimizing impact during changes.
• Work closely with the product owner, SME teams, and development teams to implement requirements.
• Model business processes, create flowcharts and data flow diagrams for system clarity.
• Conduct handovers, deliver presentations, and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions.
• Engage with auditors and regulators by providing accurate data and documentation.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 4+ years of experience in product analysis, systems analysis, or related fields.
• Experience with web applications and data analysis tools.
• Proficiency in extracting data from APIs and using AI tools for data manipulation.
• Strong understanding of SDLC processes and compliance standards.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage global teams.
• A proactive mindset and ability to work independently with stakeholders.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications in business analysis, compliance, or related areas.
• Experience working within a global or regulated environment.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent English with excellent command (both written and verbal).
