As a Mid-Level Vulnerability Remediation Specialist – Cybersecurity Operations, you will be working for our client, a global leader in cybersecurity technology. You will be instrumental in managing end-to-end vulnerability remediation processes across diverse technical environments, partnering with international teams to reduce risk and strengthen security posture.

Your main responsibilities:

• Triage and validate vulnerability findings from scanning tools and advisories (e.g., CVEs), confirming their applicability and real-world impact.
• Own remediation delivery from detection to resolution, including planning, change execution, and verification.
• Drive remediation activities across operating systems, middleware, applications, containers, and cloud services, ensuring timely and safe fixes.
• Prioritize remediation efforts based on risk context and communicate plans, status, and blockers clearly to stakeholders.
• Coordinate change execution with technology teams, managing scheduling, dependencies, and minimizing service disruption.
• Troubleshoot remediation issues such as failed patches and dependency conflicts, driving root cause analysis.
• Create and maintain remediation runbooks, standard operating procedures, and repeating patterns to improve efficiency.
• Track remediation metrics and support continuous process improvements, focusing on speed, quality, and compliance.
• Collaborate with security and platform teams to optimize scan quality, reduce false positives, and streamline vulnerability lifecycle processes.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 3 years of experience in vulnerability remediation, security engineering, or infrastructure support.
• Strong hands-on experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub, including troubleshooting.
• Proven scripting and automation skills with Python, Bash, PowerShell, and/or Groovy.
• Ability to work across teams to deliver tooling improvements end-to-end.
• Fluent English language skills, enabling effective communication across global teams.
• Practical problem-solving abilities and excellent stakeholder communication skills.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in infrastructure or security engineering.
• Passion for exploring AI tools and integrating large language models via APIs/SDKs.
