As an Portfolio Delivery Lead for Technology and Fintech, you will be working for our client, a leading international bank. In this pivotal role, you will partner with executive stakeholders to oversee the delivery of complex technology portfolios within bank's Chief Technology Office, driving strategic initiatives and ensuring seamless alignment across global teams. This is a unique chance to influence digital transformation at a top-tier financial institution, fostering innovation and project excellence.

Your main responsibilities:

• Partner with Area stakeholders, Project and Programme Sponsors, and Transformation Leads to facilitate effective portfolio delivery.
• Serve as the primary contact point between Areas and the Central PMO function, ensuring streamlined communication.
• Support the achievement of portfolio outcomes by aligning projects with organizational strategies.
• Monitor project progress, report on portfolio health, and escalate risks and issues to senior leadership.
• Ensure programmes adhere to Bank's frameworks and standards, maintaining quality and compliance.
• Assist in annual planning activities, providing advice on best methods and performing health checks on resource demands.
• Coordinate inter-programme linkages to ensure cohesive delivery within Bank's Technology.
• Track and report on programmes and projects outside direct ownership, maintaining comprehensive oversight.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 7 years of experience in portfolio management, programme delivery, or related senior roles.
• Strong understanding of portfolio management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
• Proactive problem-solving skills with proven experience in negotiation, documentation, and presenting recommendations.
• Critical thinking abilities and resilience under pressure to meet challenging deadlines.
• Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills, especially with senior-level stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, with the ability to engage and align diverse teams.
• Deep understanding of financial planning processes, including forecasting, variance management, and project accounting principles.
• Strong time management skills and experience in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Solid knowledge of technology infrastructure, fintech platforms, and digital transformation projects.
• Advanced reporting skills capable of producing high-level reports for executive audiences.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications in portfolio or project management (e.g., PgMP, MSP, PMI-PMP).
• Experience with investment banking specific project management frameworks or similar financial industry standards.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent English, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
