Senior Azure Cloud Engineer – Infrastructure as Code and Security

As a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer – Infrastructure as Code and Security, you will be working for our client, a global financial services organization committed to delivering secure, scalable, and efficient cloud solutions. You will play a critical role in building resilient Azure infrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring compliance with stringent security standards, contributing directly to the organization’s digital transformation and security posture.

Your main responsibilities:

• Build and manage our client's Azure foundation platform to enable secure application deployments.
• Engineer solutions on Azure using Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform) to ensure automation and consistency.
• Develop, document, and maintain code libraries following functional pattern lifecycle processes.
• Integrate, configure, deploy, and manage key cloud services, including IAM, networking, monitoring, and containers.
• Manage Azure connectivity and networking components, such as ExpressRoute, DNS, IP allocation, NSGs, and Azure Firewall.
• Consume and manage centrally provided hardened OS images (Linux and Windows).
• Ensure all cloud solutions adhere to security standards, operational risk policies, and compliance requirements.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in building cloud services within Azure.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies (Terraform preferred).
• Proficient knowledge of CI/CD pipelines across multiple tech stacks.
• Security and compliance expertise, especially in IAM, auditing, and monitoring tools.
• Experience working closely with application teams and cross-functional IT departments.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Certifications related to Azure, Security, or DevOps.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent local command of English.
