Senior Backend Manual Tester – Credit Systems

As a Senior Backend Manual Tester, you will be working for our client in the banking sector, supporting the testing of credit solutions for individual customers. You will help deliver stable, compliant, and high-quality financial processes by validating backend functionalities, integrations, and data flows.

Your main responsibilities:

• Execute manual backend tests for credit-related functionalities and integrations.
• Design and maintain clear test scenarios and test cases aligned with business requirements.
• Analyse defects, document findings, and support root-cause investigations.
• Use testing tools to manage test execution and reporting.
• Validate data flows and results using database queries where required.
• Verify fixes and perform regression testing to support release readiness.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to strengthen quality standards and testing practices.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in manual testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing techniques.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools.
• Experience in backend and API-focused testing.
• Working knowledge of Kafka.
• The ability to analyse defects and work effectively with delivery teams.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Basic knowledge of MS SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL databases.

Language Required for the role:

• Polish – required.
• English – communicative level.
