Senior Business Analyst – Market Data & Governance

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global leader in Markets and Securities Services. Join a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing data governance and delivering impactful change across critical financial processes. Your main responsibilities:

• Understand and optimize FX position processes within Product Control, ensuring accurate data sharing with Traded Risk
• Liaise with and educate stakeholders on FX P&L and position-related processes to ensure clear communication and understanding
• Analyze P&L Explain data exceptions, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Develop and enhance governance frameworks for adjustments, improving data quality and control mechanisms
• Build advanced tooling to visualize and streamline adjustment review routines, supporting efficient decision-making
• Manage resolution of data exceptions, including documenting requirements, stakeholder alignment, testing, and go-live support
• Produce comprehensive project analysis documentation aligned with Business Transformation Framework (BTF) standards
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Product Control teams to define requirements, conduct data analysis, and ensure successful project delivery

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Markets and Securities Services, with a focus on data quality and governance
• Strong knowledge of Global Market Products and behaviors
• Proven project delivery experience, preferably involving data quality and data lineages
• Solid understanding of the full project lifecycle with relevant qualification (e.g., PMP, Prince2)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools—Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Clear verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, building productive relationships across teams

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Part-qualified accountant credentials
• Experience delivering data quality improvement projects

• English, fluent command
