Senior Business Analyst – Markets & Securities Services

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the financial services industry committed to delivering innovative solutions in Markets and Securities Services. You will support a multi-year programme of change that enhances product control processes, data management, and operational efficiencies, helping to shape the future of financial analytics and compliance.

Your main responsibilities:

• Understand the FX position process within Product Control and collaborate with Traded Risk to optimize data sharing.
• Analyze P&L Explain data exceptions, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions.
• Improve governance and accuracy of adjustments made by Product Control by examining root causes and enhancing data quality.
• Develop advanced tooling to visualize and streamline adjustment review routines.
• Manage data exception resolution by defining requirements, coordinating stakeholder solutions, and supporting testing and go-live activities.
• Produce high-quality project analysis supporting the Product Control Change management team.
• Ensure all documentation complies with the Business Transformation Framework (BTF).
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Product Control teams to gather requirements, assess estimations, and deliver impactful solutions.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience within Markets and Securities Services, with strong technical and operational understanding.
• Hands-on project delivery experience related to data quality, governance, and data lineage.
• Solid knowledge of Global Market Products and behaviors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Part-qualified accountant or project management qualification.

Language required for the role:
English — fluent command.
