Senior Cloud Platform Engineer – Identity and Access Management (IDAM 2.0)

As a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global leader in digital banking and financial services, spearheading their groundbreaking IAM transformation. You will play a vital role in designing, building, and operating a secure, scalable cloud platform that underpins next-generation identity solutions, driving innovation and operational excellence across enterprise environments.

Your main responsibilities:

• Build, deploy, and maintain cloud-native platform services supporting the IDAM 2.0 program.
• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters and supporting platform components.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure repeatable, automated deployment processes.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows to accelerate delivery cycles.
• Manage cloud networking, connectivity, and platform security to ensure compliance and resilience.
• Implement observability solutions including logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing.
• Support platform resilience, backup, disaster recovery, and high availability initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable solutions.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Platform Engineering, particularly in GCP and Kubernetes.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar) and DevSecOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and automation scripting.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, service mesh technologies like Istio/Envoy, and security best practices.
• Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications in Cloud or Kubernetes management (e.g., CKA, CKAD, or equivalent).
• Additional experience with load balancing, PKI, or platform observability tools.
