Senior IPC Developer

Warsaw based opportunity with remote work model (2 days in the office/month)

As a Senior IPC Developer, you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking. In this role, you will contribute to the development and implementation of data warehouses and information systems, ensuring the smooth operation of ETL processes and reporting environments. You will be involved in designing algorithms, developing databases, and creating analytical reporting environments. Additionally, you will oversee the quality of work done by others and be a key player in testing and documenting technical specifications.

Your main responsibilities: Lead project and implementation work in the development of data warehouses and information systems

• Design algorithms and implement ETL processes, participating in the deployment of Informatica tools
• Design databases and analytical reporting marts
• Develop, implement, and enhance BI class reporting environments
• Control the quality of work performed by others
• Test IT solutions
• Prepare technical specifications and project, technical, and administrative documentation
• Prepare software installation packages
• Prepare software acceptance and participate in system handovers

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong knowledge of Informatica Power Center for ETL process development
• Good understanding of RDBMS Oracle 9i / 10g for database and application design
• Excellent SQL skills and knowledge of PL/SQL
• Familiarity with information systems engineering and development methodologies
• At least 3 years of experience in designing, implementing, and deploying ETL solutions using Informatica Power Center
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, implementing, and deploying information systems in an Oracle database environment
• Practical experience in designing and programming data warehouses and information systems for financial, telecommunications, or similar institutions
• Ability and willingness to work in a team
• Engagement, communication skills, openness
• Analytical thinking
• Proficiency in English sufficient for communication and reading technical documentation and literature

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Theoretical knowledge and practical experience in Big Data, Python, Spark
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) concepts
• Ability to work according to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Knowledge of tools: SQL Developer, SVN, GitHub, JIRA, Confluence
