Senior Java & Angular Investment Reporting Developer

As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leader in the financial services industry, committed to transforming investment reporting through innovative technology. You will contribute to building a next-generation, high-performance platform that redefines how complex business data is managed and reported in the investment banking sector, offering substantial growth opportunities in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring robust microservices architecture.
• Create responsive, intuitive user interfaces with Angular, focusing on component-based architecture and efficient state management.
• Analyze existing business capabilities to accurately translate complex financial requirements into modern solutions.
• Collaborate with architects and technical leads to align development efforts with best practices and targeted system architecture.
• Optimize data processing by working closely with enterprise relational databases (Sybase/Oracle) to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Ensure seamless integration of the new platform with existing enterprise data layers, supporting a complete functional transformation.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation, enhancing team knowledge sharing.

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 3 years of experience building enterprise-level Java applications, with strong expertise in Spring Boot and microservice design.
• Proven expertise in developing sophisticated Angular applications, with a focus on SPAs and efficient state management.
• Solid SQL skills, including experience with relational databases such as Sybase or Oracle.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to explore and understand legacy system logic (built on 4D) to extract core business rules.
• Fluency in English, with effective communication skills for a multicultural, international team.

It’s a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with system modernization or platform transformation projects.
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Jasper Reports.

English — fluent command.
