Senior Java Developer – AI Integration and Microservices

As a Senior Java Developer – AI Integration and Microservices, you will be working for our client, a leader in the insurance industry, committed to revolutionizing claims management. You'll contribute to building scalable, enterprise-grade backend solutions and intelligent automation systems that transform traditional workflows, enhance operational excellence, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Your main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java services (Java 8/11/17/21) and Spring Boot frameworks aligned with claims management business needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of scalable microservices solutions
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold high software quality standards
• Implement architectures based on DDD, CQRS, Hexagonal Architecture, and EDA to support robust, event-driven microservices ecosystems
• Utilize containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes for deployment efficiency
• Develop and integrate AI-enabled components including automation, classification, and information extraction modules
• Contribute actively to Agile/Scrum teams, proposing innovative solutions and delivering end-to-end features with ownership and independence
• Drive product stability and continual improvement of enterprise solutions in a production environment

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Java enterprise development
• Strong knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot frameworks
• Practical experience with microservices architecture and basic Kubernetes knowledge
• Proficiency in GIT, relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL), and transactional data systems
• Experience with testing tools like JUnit, Spock, Testcontainers, and automated CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with messaging systems and asynchronous integration techniques
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a strong ownership mindset, combined with excellent team collaboration skills
• Proven track record of delivering AI-based solutions or integrating ML/LLM services

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Angular 14+ for full-stack development
• Hands-on experience designing AI solutions with considerations for security, compliance, and enterprise constraints
• A product-oriented mindset with a good understanding of business processes

Language Required for the role:

• Communicative level of English
• Polish language skills are required
