As an Integration Architect with SAP you will work for our Client – a global enterprise with core competencies in the three main life sciences areas of crop science, pharmaceuticals & consumer health. Your main responsibilities: Drive integration design and implementation for SAP-related business processes as part of the Data Powered Sales program (DPS) in the CRM domain
- Design APIs, microservices and process cheography
- Design and implement canonical data model schemas
- Gather requirements with global and local business- and IT-stakeholders
- Manage external development teams to drive implementations
- Support the Bayer architecture team on operations and improvement of the microservice-based Bayer Integration Mesh architecture
- Technical reviews of processes and implementations delivered by external development teams
- Be the main point of contact for business stakeholders for SAP-related integrations
- Drive discussions for the future SAP „CORE” project at Bayer regarding integrations with the DPS program
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- A minimum 10 years of experience
- Good understanding of integration styles like APIs, messaging systems and microservice architectures
- Good understanding of SAP architecture, processes and integration capabilities (in the areas of master data management, sales distribution. products/platforms: SAP P2R, SAP PO, BAPI, working with IDOCS, SAP SD) to drive architecture discussions and steer development teams
- Experience in using development tools like GitHub, VSCode, formal API specifications like OAS
- Strong communication, abstract thinking and team-player skills
- Strong people management skills to drive topics in a multi-country multi-stakeholder environment
- Strong agile working mindset
- Fluent English
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience using CICD processes to deliver distributed systems
- Experience of designing, implementing and operating distributed systems on AWS
- Experience in the CRM domain (even better: CRM in life sciences)
- Possibility to meet in person in Berlin for architecture workshops
