As a Project Manager, you’ll join the team of our client, one of the largest private bank in the world. You’ll join the Rapid Automation Development Team within the SSO department, this is a dynamic group focused on automating processes and streamlining workflows across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region.
Your main responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of automation projects for Securities Services processes
- Partner with business users, technical developers, and operations personnel to gather requirements, define project scope, and facilitate clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring smooth project execution
- Participate in team meetings, actively support project documentation, and clearly and effectively document progress of multiple projects based on calls and communication with various stakeholders
- Stay current on emerging automation trends and best practices
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, preferably within a financial services or IT environment with a focus on process automation
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex automation projects within the Securities Services domain, or a similar business type (e.g., asset management, banking)
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and their application within automation initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying opportunities for process improvement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels
- The ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Experience using project management tools like Jira
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality project deliverables
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of automation projects for Securities Services processes, such as corporate accounting, fund accounting, trade confirmation, settlements, custody, and transfer agency functions
- Work closely with stakeholders, including business users, technical developers, and operations personnel, to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business objectives
- Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and dependencies
- Track project progress and performance metrics, reporting to team leadership and stakeholders
- Facilitate collaborative working sessions and knowledge sharing within the team
- Oversee project documentation and ensure clear and effective communication of progress based on calls and communication with various stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date on emerging automation technologies and best practices relevant to Securities Services
