As a Unix Administrator, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution focused on transforming its digital business automation to meet market demands. This project aims to enhance the resilience and monitoring of the Control-M application and its underlying Unix servers. You will play a critical role in implementing solutions that boost system resilience, improve performance monitoring, and automate processes, contributing to the organization’s strategic goals.

Your main responsibilities:

• Participating in projects requiring Linux system administration expertise to implement new tools or automate processes
• Evaluating the current resilience status of Unix servers for Control-M
• Providing recommendations to improve server resilience
• Implementing recommendations for Unix servers
• Enhancing performance monitoring of servers, software, and hardware
• Updating technical documentation
• Automating processes using scripting skills

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• A degree in Computer Science
• 4+ years of proven work experience as a Linux System Administrator
• Knowledge of using and implementing monitoring tools for Unix
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language
• Knowledge of cluster management for Unix
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Strong technical documentation skills
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Puppet skills
• Ansible skills
• Experience with Oracle
• Backup and storage management experience
