Warsaw-based opportunity with the possibility to work 3 days a week remotely!
As a AML/KYC Analyst, you will be working for our client, a prominent financial institution known for its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security and customer trust. You will play a crucial role in handling fraud cases, supporting the implementation of advanced fraud detection tools, and collaborating with various teams to mitigate risks.
Your main responsibilities: Handle fraud cases by taking requests from different internal departments or external parties, conducting forensic investigations, and advising on immediate actions
- Support 1st level case handling teams in their daily work, including account opening and intermediary services
- Evaluate processes and controls within PI, taking mitigation measures to respond to changing fraud patterns
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of all fraud cases
- Maintain close exchange with local Compliance, other Group entities, and other banks on changing fraud patterns
- Report incidents according to the internal process, UARs, and criminal complaint reporting
- Support the team during the implementation of the new fraud detection tool
- Monitor and assess the risk situation in cooperation with Operations teams and Customer Unit
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience, including 2 in the area of AML/KYC
- Proficiency in German at a minimum of B2 level, with experience in projects run in German (meetings, documentation)
- Practical understanding of both phased and agile project management models and tools
- Strong technical understanding of potentially automated processes and relevant IT products
- Good knowledge of MS 365 and particularly good knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
- Experience in the banking sector
- Effective communication and people skills, both written and oral
- Ability to coordinate and agree with stakeholders on a list of activities (backlog) and monitor realization
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
- Attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- An open mind to approach topics innovatively
- A self-starter attitude, delivering value and products without constant monitoring
