As a .NET Engineer, you will be working for our client, a prominent financial services organization focused on delivering cutting-edge solutions in the banking sector. You will be engaged in enhancing and developing features for critical applications, maintaining robust support systems, and collaborating across various teams to drive innovation and efficiency. Your role will demand a strong grasp of both front-end and back-end technologies, alongside effective communication and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.
Your main responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing new features and enhancements for existing applications
- Maintaining and supporting current systems, ensuring seamless functionality
- Collaborating with onshore teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates
- Applying best practices in coding and development to deliver high-quality solutions
- Integrating and working with service/Microservice oriented architecture
- Utilizing tools like GitHub, Teamcity, Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Docker for development and deployment
- Managing and querying databases using Microsoft SQL Server and Amazon S3
- Communicating technical details effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Proficiency in VBA (Excel/Access) for developing and supporting Addins
- Strong skills in C#/.NET, .NET Core, WinForms, and/or WPF
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Amazon S3
- Exposure to Java or Python programming languages
- Familiarity with GitHub, Teamcity, Jenkins, Ansible, Kubernetes, and Docker
- In-depth understanding of derivative markets, valuation, and pricing
- Experience with quant library integration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Knowledge of market data from vendor sources such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Markit/Totem, or ICAP
- Experience with integrating and managing Microservice architectures
