As a Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution, on a critical project aimed at enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of project management processes. You will play a key role in supporting the project management team by ensuring that project documentation, risk assessments, and budget submissions are accurate and up to date. This position offers a dynamic environment where you will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that projects align with the client’s strategic goals and regulatory standards.
Your main responsibilities:
- Reviewing and validating the RAID log with Project Managers to ensure accuracy and management
- Working with Project Managers to document and maintain a comprehensive portfolio plan
- Updating and maintaining the accuracy of the CSAT CTB budget submission
- Creating portfolio reporting packs to inform leadership of overall project status
- Creating Jira dashboards to support thematic analysis
- Assessing project delivery against the internal Change Framework
- Assisting in coordinating project activities to avoid delays and ensure timely delivery
- Engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with project goals
- Identifying and escalating potential risks and issues to ensure they are managed effectively
- Supporting the preparation of project documentation and reports for leadership review
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Excellent communication and engagement skills
- Strong project support skills, with a focus on work ethic over experience
- Willingness to work hard in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing last-minute requests
- Basic knowledge of project management principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in using Jira for project tracking and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to project success
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience in financial services or a related industry
- Familiarity with RAID logs and their management
- Understanding of budget management and financial tracking
- Experience with project management tools like Microsoft Project
