As a Model Owner, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution dedicated to advancing digital identity verification technologies. In this role, you will oversee the lifecycle of machine learning and AI models, ensuring their development, deployment, and performance meet high standards. You will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with policies and evaluate third-party models. Your focus will be on maintaining model integrity and performance while driving innovation in digital solutions used by millions of customers worldwide.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to define project requirements
• Defining and maintaining model development best practices and standards
• Evaluating and selecting appropriate algorithms and techniques for machine learning applications
• Performing data exploration and analysis to identify relevant features and patterns
• Conducting model performance evaluations and optimizing for accuracy and efficiency
• Developing and maintaining model deployment and monitoring pipelines
• Identifying and mitigating potential model bias or ethical concerns
• Providing training and documentation to end-users and stakeholders
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and data science
• Supporting data model governance activities with the head of delivery

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, data science, or a related field
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling concepts
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
• Programming skills in Python or R
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Experience with model performance evaluation and optimization
• Understanding of machine learning best practices and ethical considerations
• Experience with model deployment and monitoring pipelines

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in a serverless AWS environment
• Familiarity with advanced machine learning and AI techniques and tools
• Knowledge of international compliance and risk management related to AI models
