As an Automation Tester, you will be working for our client, a global leader in commercial banking solutions, supporting their advanced online platform used by corporate clients. Your primary focus will be developing and maintaining automated test packs for a range of banking functions while contributing to some manual testing activities. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless software updates by stabilizing regression packs, enhancing the automation framework, and aligning testing efforts with agile development cycles. This position offers an opportunity to apply the latest testing technologies and methodologies within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing test automation using Java, Selenium WebDriver, IntelliJ, Maven, JUnit, and Cucumber
• Performing API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or Tosca
• Reviewing and updating the existing automation framework to ensure stability
• Stabilizing and updating the regression suite with the latest codebase
• Ensuring regression packs are designed and maintained in sync with release cycles
• Supporting test transformation initiatives by implementing best practices
• Participating in sprint planning sessions to sequence user story development
• Providing test estimates and metrics based on your application knowledge and experience
• Creating test scenarios from requirement documents and user stories for manual testing
• Collaborating with stakeholders to communicate testing progress and issues

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Experience with Java-based test automation using Selenium
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber
• API testing experience with Postman, RestAssured, or Tosca
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and Java
• Hands-on experience working in an agile environment using JIRA
• Expertise in manual testing and creating test scenarios
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and planning abilities
• Proven stakeholder management and customer orientation skills
• Ability to provide continuous feedback and follow up on performance agreements

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Familiarity with grid server integration or BrowserStack
• Knowledge of test automation in large-scale banking or financial environments
