QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer, you will be working for our client, a prominent global financial institution, on ensuring the highest quality of their software products. You will be developing and maintaining comprehensive testing strategies, conducting various types of tests, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and reliable software solutions. Your role will be crucial in identifying and addressing defects, improving testing processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Your main responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining testing strategies and test plans based on requirements
• Conducting manual tests, including functional, integration, regression, API, and performance tests
• Providing accurate test estimations and timelines
• Creating, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts for end-to-end testing
• Designing, documenting, and executing test cases
• Improving manual and automation test coverage continuously
• Identifying, documenting, and monitoring defects and issues
• Collaborating closely with developers to address defects and issues
• Communicating test results and status effectively
• Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 4+ years of experience in manual software testing
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with end-to-end test automation using Java and Selenium
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and integrating test automation into them
• Proven experience in functional, integration, and regression testing
• Solid understanding of QA best practices
• Experience working with IBM BPM or Microsoft Power Apps (nice to have)
• Detail-oriented and quality-focused approach
• Proactive and self-driven attitude with strong communication skills
• Experience in Agile methodology and Scrum/Kanban frameworks
• Ability to identify business risks and design proactive solutions

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with IBM BPM or Microsoft Power Apps
• Proven ability to improve testing efficiency and process enhancements
