As an IT Program Manager, you will be working for our client, a global financial services leader, overseeing large-scale IT solutions for payment systems. You will manage the Global Disbursements platform, which supports rapid, secure fund transfers for corporate clients. Your role involves guiding project teams through the development, testing, and implementation phases of technology solutions, while ensuring alignment with business needs. The focus will be on optimizing payment processing and ensuring compliance with financial regulations in a fast-paced, international environment.

Your main responsibilities:

• Driving program delivery by managing scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget, and risks
• Supporting business stakeholders in breaking down complex requirements into actionable tasks
• Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
• Leading the adoption of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban across teams
• Overseeing senior Project/Program Managers on high-priority initiatives
• Defining staffing needs, responsibilities, and timelines for projects
• Establishing effective program controls and procedures to maintain project integrity
• Ensuring compliance with corporate standards and frameworks throughout the project lifecycle
• Promoting best practices in technology portfolio management and project delivery
• Ensuring technology solutions align with business goals and regulatory requirements

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years’ experience in IT project management or business consultancy
• Strong experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
• Proven ability to decompose complex business needs into technical deliverables
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly
• Experience managing large-scale IT projects, particularly in the financial sector
• Strong interpersonal skills to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders
• Analytical skills with a focus on delivering high-quality, business-oriented solutions
• Deep understanding of the project lifecycle and key activities at each stage
• Experience working in a global, fast-paced environment

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in the payments industry, especially with platforms like SWIFT or domestic payment schemes
• A background in working within banking or financial services
