As Senior Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading institution in financial services, supporting projects to enhance data quality and governance within one of the Clients departments. Your primary role will involve working closely with stakeholders across Product Control, IT, and finance to assess and document transformation requirements, implement data solutions, and streamline processes. This position requires strong project management and analysis skills to deliver impactful changes across global finance operations and ensure compliance with data and reporting standards.
Your main responsibilities:
- Supporting Product Control Change Managers by delivering high-quality project analysis
- Documenting requirements, analysis, and designs in alignment with change framework guidelines
- Collaborating with IT teams to assess and clarify estimations and project deliverables
- Analyzing data exceptions and working with stakeholders to identify root causes
- Enhancing governance processes for data adjustments and documentation
- Ensuring clear and concise project documentation that aligns with business objectives
- Engaging with finance, Product Control, and IT teams to validate data requirements and testing
- Maintaining and supporting change management sign-offs for project deliverables
- Monitoring compliance with operational risk controls, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Building effective relationships with local and international teams to ensure smooth project delivery
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Prior experience in the financial services field
- A strong background in project delivery with at least two years of hands-on experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Solid understanding of Project Lifecycle and analytical skills for problem-solving
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear stakeholder engagement
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- High attention to detail and a focus on timely, quality-driven project completion
- A proactive, adaptable approach in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Proven ability to influence and build relationships across multiple business units
- Relevant project management or finance qualifications (desirable but not essential)
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Familiarity with financial data quality initiatives and data lineage documentation
- Part qualification in accounting or a finance-related field
