Fullstack Java Developer

Warsaw based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month)

As a Fullstack Java Developer, you will be working for our client, one of the largest companies in the insurance industry, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge software solutions. This dynamic project involves building and enhancing scalable applications, ensuring high-quality standards, and collaborating closely with other developers and business stakeholders in an Agile environment. You will play a vital role in delivering innovative solutions that drive operational efficiency and exceptional user experiences.

Your main responsibilities: Develop and enhance applications following company standards

• Write unit tests for implemented solutions
• Collaborate with other developers and business teams in an Agile setup
• Ensure application quality and maintain coding best practices
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Implement and manage microservices and K8s environments
• Integrate APIs using an API-first approach
• Optimize and troubleshoot applications hosted on JBOSS/Wildfly servers

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Java programming (Java 8/21)
• Advanced knowledge of Spring/Spring Boot frameworks
• Experience with application servers such as JBOSS/Wildfly
• Proficiency with build tools like Maven/Gradle
• Strong expertise in Angular (12/14/16) and TypeScript
• Experience working with microservices and containerized environments (K8s)
• Familiarity with code repositories like SVN/GIT
• Understanding of messaging queues such as JMS/RabbitMQ
• Hands-on experience in writing unit tests and adhering to best programming practices
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum)
• Knowledge of Keycloak (basics)
• Familiarity with Open API and API First approaches
