Senior FullStack Engineer

Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).

As a Senior FullStack Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution that combines robust infrastructure with a forward-thinking approach to digital innovation. You’ll join a collaborative DevOps team focused on transforming traditional banking through modern engineering practices and agile methodologies. The project involves enhancing internal developer experiences, modernizing legacy systems, and enabling continuous delivery pipelines across multiple business units. You will be key in building scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions that impact millions of users worldwide while contributing to a culture of technical excellence and experimentation.

Your main responsibilities: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and deliver end-to-end technical solutions

• Building and maintaining scalable front-end and back-end components
• Improving development workflows and continuous delivery pipelines
• Refactoring legacy codebases to enhance performance and maintainability
• Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to engineering best practices
• Supporting production deployments and troubleshooting issues
• Leading by example in agile ceremonies and pair programming sessions
• Automating testing, deployment, and monitoring processes
• Coaching less experienced engineers and promoting knowledge sharing
• Contributing to architectural decisions and technology evaluations

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong hands-on experience with both front-end and back-end development
• Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue)
• Solid knowledge of server-side languages such as Java, Node.js, or Python
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
• Understanding of agile software development and lean methodologies
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Exposure to functional programming languages (e.g., Clojure, Haskell, Rust)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Puppet
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana or Prometheus
• Background in financial services or regulated industries
• Contribution to open-source projects or tech communities
