As a Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global financial services leader committed to strengthening its cybersecurity and risk management practices across international operations. The project is focused on designing a unified risk acceptance and exceptions management process, streamlining workflows, and improving regulatory compliance frameworks. You will be engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including compliance officers and technology teams, to drive consistency, clarity, and efficiency across global cybersecurity controls. This is a strategic role at the intersection of risk, technology, and regulatory transformation.
Your main responsibilities: Analyzing existing workflows and processes to identify risks, overlaps, and inefficiencies
- Facilitating workshops and discussions with stakeholders across business and technology teams
- Designing and documenting a unified risk acceptance and exceptions management process
- Collaborating with global teams to ensure alignment with regulatory expectations
- Working with compliance, control owners, and second line of defense to drive project outcomes
- Creating detailed process documentation to support implementation and governance
- Supporting planning and reporting for key regulatory and control initiatives
- Gathering business requirements and translating them into actionable insights
- Managing documentation and task workflows using tools like JIRA and Confluence
- Coordinating with technology stakeholders to validate proposed process changes
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Strong knowledge of risk and control frameworks in a technology environment
- Proven experience in IT project management and delivery lifecycle models
- Background working in a complex, global financial services setting
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to analyze and document processes with precision
- Independent work ethic with a team-oriented mindset
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Zoom for collaboration
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
- Experience aligning process design with regulatory requirements
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience with GRC tools such as IBM OpenPages or ServiceNow
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards
- Proficiency with process mapping tools like MS Visio
