Valuations Specialist

Location: 100% remote

As a Valuations Specialist, you will be working for our client, a global financial leader dedicated to enhancing transparency, governance, and control within trading and valuation processes. You will be focusing on ensuring the accuracy and consistency of fair value adjustments, independent price verification, and prudent valuation adjustments across multiple asset classes. By collaborating closely with traders, risk managers, and finance teams, you will be leading methodology enhancements, driving compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing process improvements that strengthen controls, increase efficiency, and deliver measurable impact across global markets.

Your main responsibilities: Ensuring governance and controls of fair value adjustments, IPV, and PVA

• Leading valuations methodology development, global alignment, and process enhancements
• Acting as key contact point for XVA trading and stakeholders
• Driving implementation of valuation methodology changes and engaging with auditors
• Collaborating with asset class valuation teams to improve consistency and efficiency
• Promoting continuous improvement through system and process change initiatives
• Maintaining internal control standards and implementing audit recommendations
• Ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements
• Supporting policy development for valuations and methodology enhancements
• Leading or contributing to projects within valuation transformation programs

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Holding a graduate degree with 4+ years’ experience in product control or valuations
• Demonstrating strong knowledge of credit, interest rate, or XVA products
• Applying understanding of valuation, controls, accounting, models, and markets
• Possessing good knowledge of regulatory requirements for valuations
• Communicating complex valuation issues clearly to senior stakeholders
• Showing strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Bringing experience in leading projects to successful delivery
• Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships at all levels
• Maintaining a strong controls-oriented mindset and adaptability
• Demonstrating experience developing valuation methodology or shaping related policy

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Holding an accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CA
• Managing or coaching teams across multiple locations
• Having direct experience in methodology development for IPV or FVAs
