Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (6 days/month in the office)
As a Lead Enterprise Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global financial leader modernizing its cyber engineering landscape through a strategic program focused on excellence, efficiency, and innovation. You will be playing a key role in shaping engineering standards, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring scalable solutions that meet both customer and regulatory needs. By partnering with engineering leads, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will be embedding best practices, championing reuse, and enabling faster, more consistent delivery across global teams.
Your main responsibilities: Establishing an engineering excellence program across Cyber teams
- Embedding efficiency, process improvements, and engineering best practices
- Partnering with engineering leads and capability owners to achieve desired outcomes
- Defining requirements for services and capabilities that meet controls and customer needs
- Driving cross-functional reuse to accelerate product introduction and time to market
- Coaching Agile teams to adopt standard patterns and approaches
- Identifying, producing, and implementing standards and patterns for consistency
- Partnering with product management teams for improved business case outcomes
- Ensuring inclusion of non-functional engineering requirements in product selection
- Driving a culture of inner sourcing, reuse, and customer-centric design
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Holding a degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related scientific field
- Bringing 5+ years of experience as a senior engineer or technical architect
- Leading new product development in high-tech or high-change environments
- Demonstrating success in engineering improvement initiatives within large organizations
- Showing resilience, solution focus, and strong analytical capabilities
- Providing strategic leadership and people management across global teams
- Influencing and building relationships to deliver actionable strategic plans
- Delivering consistently in complex, matrixed environments
- Applying systems engineering and requirements management expertise
- Communicating fluently in English with excellent influencing and negotiation skills
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Contributing experience in cyber engineering or large-scale technology transformation
- Engaging directly with global stakeholders across diverse cultural contexts
- Knowledge of design authority, engineering quality, safety, and compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with standardized product selection methodologies in financial services
