Mid-Level Fullstack Java Developer – Banking and Microservices

As a Fullstack Java Developer you will be working for our client, a leading organization in the online banking sector that delivers secure, scalable, and high-performance digital financial services to millions of users. You will contribute to the development and enhancement of modern banking applications built with Java and Angular, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design reliable solutions, implement new features, and maintain highly available systems while following software engineering best practices throughout the entire development lifecycle.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain fullstack applications using Java and Angular

• Design and implement scalable and highly available software solutions

• Build and enhance backend services using Spring and Spring Boot

• Create and improve responsive frontend components with Angular

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle

• Review code and follow software engineering best practices

• Write and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality

• Manage application builds and dependencies using Maven or Gradle

• Work with relational databases and contribute to database optimization

• Deploy and support applications running in Kubernetes environments

• Use Git for version control and collaborative development

• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure system reliability

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related technical field

• At least 3 years of commercial experience with Java and Angular development

• Strong knowledge of Java 17 or newer and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot

• Practical experience with Angular 19 or newer, JavaScript, and Node.js

• Experience with Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle

• Experience working with relational databases

• Understanding of software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and the software development lifecycle

• Experience building or maintaining highly available and scalable applications

• Strong communication skills, teamwork mindset, and willingness to learn

• English proficiency allowing you to read and understand technical documentation

Nice to have:

• Experience working with microservices architecture

• Experience with non-relational databases (nice to have)
