As a Senior Identity & Access Management Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution committed to redefining security and access controls across their global operations. You will play a pivotal role in a strategic IAM program, focusing on requirements gathering, process analysis, and stakeholder collaboration to streamline identity lifecycle, provisioning, and governance solutions. Your main responsibilities:
- Gather and manage technical requirements related to IAM infrastructure, including Cloud and on-premises platforms.
- Conduct process mapping and analysis of identity lifecycle, provisioning, and governance workflows.
- Identify and develop use cases aligned with IAM strategies and operational needs.
- Collaborate closely with IT developers, engineers, and operational teams to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
- Present findings and solutions confidently to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and support decision-making processes.
- Deliver high-quality, scheduled outputs while managing time efficiently.
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Identity & Access Management (IAM) with exposure to identity lifecycle, provisioning, and governance.
- Proven knowledge of Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes, provisioning, reconciliation patterns, and IAM standards such as AD/Azure AD, LDAP, SCIM, SAML/OIDC.
- Strong understanding of identity concepts: authentication versus authorization, roles, entitlements, access reviews, and Segregation of Duties (SoD).
- Technical understanding of infrastructure technologies.
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-sufficient with the ability to deliver quality results independently.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Visio, and Confluence.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Experience working in the financial services sector.
- Previous HSBC experience.
- Exposure to agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, DevOps practices, and CI/CD controls in regulated environments.
- Experience working with global teams.
- Familiarity with Rational Team Concert.
- Understanding of audit and regulatory requirements for access control and reporting.
Language Required for the role:
Fluent English (excellent verbal and written communication skills).
