Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model.
As a senior cybersecurity program manager, you will be working for a global financial institution dedicated to strengthening security measures across operational, regulatory, and AI domains. You will oversee multiple projects, coordinate stakeholder requirements, and ensure seamless delivery of critical security initiatives to support business growth and compliance.
Your main responsibilities:
- Progress requirements and manage backlogs within cybersecurity and risk management projects.
- Plan, design, and proactively monitor project progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective actions.
- Define governance frameworks and ensure project quality and integrity.
- Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and realize benefits.
- Oversee the delivery of new security products and services within scope, time, and budget.
- Coordinate resources, including third-party contributions, to meet project goals.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
- Manage dependencies and interfaces between multiple projects.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Collaborate with business change managers on transitioning to sustainable business-as-usual operations.
- Report project progress to senior stakeholders regularly.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 5 years of experience managing cybersecurity or IT transformation projects.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Experience managing budgets and resources effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity technologies and their business impact.
- Strong leadership capabilities and problem-solving skills.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum.
- Experience working in financial services or regulated industries.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.
Language required for the role:
- Fluent English (C1 level or higher).
