Mid-Level Java Developer – Cloud-Native and Microservices

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a leader in the financial industry, specializing in securities settlements and post-trade processing systems. You will contribute to building a modern, cloud-native environment using advanced technologies and AI-assisted development tools, driving innovation in financial services and operational excellence.

Your main responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices utilizing Spring Boot.
• Work with event-driven architectures using Kafka to ensure scalable, real-time data processing.
• Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes, leveraging Argo CD for continuous delivery.
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline management with GitLab to streamline development workflows.
• Monitor and observe system performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic Stack to ensure optimal operation.
• Collaborate within an agile, cross-functional team environment to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Leverage AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Devin, Claude) to boost productivity and code quality.
• Contribute to the evolution of security and post-trade processing infrastructure.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Experience with SDLC tools such as GitLab.
• Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with securities settlements and post-trade processing systems.
• Familiarity with Argo CD, Prometheus, Grafana, or Elastic Stack.
• Experience with AI development tools like Devin, Claude, or GitHub Copilot.

• English (Communicative level).
