As a Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution leading the digital revolution. Your role within the Path To Live team is crucial in enabling seamless delivery processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll design, integrate, and test pipeline capabilities, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive agile and value-driven workflows. Additionally, you’ll provide both development and production support.

Your main responsibilities:

• Designing, implementing, integrating, and testing pipeline capabilities
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional Digital teams
• Bringing in new technologies to enhance processes
• Providing production and development support

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of experience in Java software engineering
• Proficiency in test-driven development and architectural patterns
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with Git (particularly GitHub) and Maven
• Open and collaborative mindset for effective teamwork
• Outcome and customer-focused approach
• Clear communication skills, curiosity and problem-solving inclination
• Willingness to challenge and innovate existing norms
• Adaptability to dynamic work environments
• Proven track-record in designing and implementing tooling / automation solutions
• A strong understanding of the challenges around and approaches to realizing an Agile continuous delivery enabled Digital engineering organization, across people and process as well as tools and technologies

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Previous experience with Jenkins, Groovy, Nexus, or Splunk
• UI development experience with Javascript frameworks such as Angular
• Experience with AWS and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
