Kraków – based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/month in the office).

As a Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global financial services provider driving regulatory and operational transformation within its global IT governance structure. The project focuses on enhancing control frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation through collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors. You will play a critical role in aligning business requirements with strategic technology solutions, supporting ongoing change initiatives, and contributing to a culture of control excellence. This is a dynamic and impactful position at the heart of a global compliance-driven environment.

Your main responsibilities: Gathering and analyzing business requirements and user stories from key stakeholders

  • Running workshops with control owners and compliance experts
  • Collaborating with global teams to ensure regulatory alignment across initiatives
  • Facilitating communication between the client and third-party assessment vendors
  • Supporting the delivery of regulatory and strategic initiatives
  • Working with Risk, Compliance, and Control teams to maintain alignment
  • Conducting analysis and supporting proof-of-concept activities for new solutions
  • Assisting with planning, tracking, and reporting project deliverables
  • Ensuring project documentation is complete, accurate, and well-structured
  • Using platforms like JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow to manage workflows

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Hands-on experience defining and managing risks and controls in a tech environment
  • Proven knowledge of IT project management and software delivery lifecycles
  • Background in complex financial services environments with regional/global scope
  • Familiarity with control frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, NIST, or ISO27001
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and iterative delivery models
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong analytical and documentation capabilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
  • High proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Zoom

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Experience with IBM OpenPages or MS Visio
  • Background in consulting, particularly with a Big 4 firm
  • Familiarity with regulatory mapping or horizon scanning solutions
