Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in the office/month)

As a Business System Analyst you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking, contributing to innovative projects that shape the future of digital financial services. You will play a key role in bridging business needs with technical solutions, ensuring smooth collaboration between stakeholders, developers, and end-users. This position offers the opportunity to gather requirements, design solutions, and oversee the implementation of changes within banking systems. It is a challenging and rewarding role for someone eager to work at the intersection of business and technology.

Your main responsibilities: Gather business and system requirements for ongoing banking projects

  • Lead workshops and analyze business processes
  • Design and consult solutions to be implemented in banking systems, including prototyping in Figma
  • Prepare project documentation to support development and implementation
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT development teams
  • Define and describe user stories in cooperation with business, PMs, POs, and stakeholders
  • Coordinate system tests and support system users during implementations
  • Support deployment activities and ensure proper execution of changes
  • Contribute to the development of standards and best practices within the team

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

  • Several years of professional experience as a business systems analyst
  • Hands-on experience in preparing and defining changes in IT systems
  • Knowledge of tools and techniques for gathering requirements
  • Understanding of UX/UI best practices for application design
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with business and technical teams
  • Experience in leading workshops and working directly with stakeholders
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Ability to take responsibility for achieving team goals
  • Understanding of BPM-class system architecture and experience in configuration within BPM-class systems
  • Knowledge of XML, JSON, REST, MQ

It is a strong plus if you have:

  • Ability to use SQL in practice
  • Experience in business and IT projects for the banking/financial sector
  • Ability to use Atlassian tools supporting analysis: Confluence (wiki), Jira
