As a Controls Review Business Analyst – IRR Programme, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution, on a crucial project aimed at enhancing controls processes for regulatory submissions and exercises. You will play a pivotal role in this project, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the success of  initiatives.

Your main responsibilities:

• Determining control standards required for regulatory reporting processes specific to STDF
• Identifying gaps/completeness of controls processes across the stress testing population for each exercise in collaboration with operating process analysts
• Enhancing controls in collaboration with report owners to ensure compliance with required standards
• Documenting control processes in relevant systems of record
• Tracking controls and compliance items through resolution in coordination with other workstreams and core process owners
• Supporting the project manager by identifying gaps in current processes and making relevant proposals
• Facilitating conversations with business stakeholders, external vendors, and service providers
• Contributing to impact assessment activities and work effort assessments
• Providing training for new team members

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• 7+ years of experience in controls-focused business analysis and documentation
• Proven record of documenting and verifying controls in previous capacities
• Ability to engage with stakeholders, lead process discussions, and document gaps effectively
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
• Demonstrable business analysis and business process skills
• Ability to document and communicate concepts, flows, and designs clearly and concisely

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Working knowledge of controls tools
• Previous experience with finance projects (candidates without financial sector experience but with relevant skills will be considered)
• Ability to work effectively with demanding business stakeholders
