As a Full Stack Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution. Your role will be crucial in supporting the development of innovative software solutions within the Digital Technology team. Specifically, you will contribute to  enhancing business growth, profitability, and returns through strategic financial management.

Your main responsibilities:

• Work within a team of 4 – 6 people, collaborating closely with a dedicated Product Owner
• Take business requirements, break them down into stories, and deliver each iteratively to production
• Provide integral product support following the team’s ethos of „The team builds it, the team supports it”
• Identify and address areas of technical debt, ensuring a balanced focus on tech debt and new functionality
• Design solutions for new items, ensuring adherence to technology guidelines and constraints
• Engage in pairing sessions with other team members to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration
• Overseeing MSS capital, funding, liquidity, and leverage to ensure regulatory compliance and optimize financial performance
• Managing Capital, RWA (Counterparty Credit Risk and Market Risk), Leverage, Intra-Group, Liquidity & Funding to maintain financial stability and meet business objectives

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Demonstrated willingness to learn multiple programming languages
• Proven experience in at least one language, such as Java or JavaScript
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like React
• Proficiency in SQL, GIT
• Working knowledge of Unix systems
• Understanding of databases from a consumer perspective
• Familiarity with HTTP APIs, including RESTful APIs
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Previous experience in Agile development environments
• Exposure to DevOps practices and tools
• Experience with software development in the banking or financial sector
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and technologies
