As an HBCE Technology Platform Architect, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution, to support its cloud infrastructure transformation across 11 countries in continental Europe. Your role will be pivotal in designing resilient, scalable, and secure platforms to deliver modern services both on-premise and in the cloud. You will collaborate closely with global and local architecture teams to ensure alignment and compliance with the company’s evolving infrastructure needs, working with cutting-edge technologies like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and traditional systems such as Linux and Windows.

Your main responsibilities:

• Ensuring the platform architecture meets product requirements, both functional and non-functional
• Collaborating with global architecture teams to align solutions with organizational strategies
• Ensuring that solution designs are compliant with architecture standards and roadmaps
• Addressing operational concerns like resilience, scalability, and performance in the product architecture
• Collaborating with product teams to translate business requirements into technical stories
• Providing consultancy on infrastructure options for software solutions, cloud deployments, or on-premise setups
• Delivering infrastructure inputs for solution design documents across multiple initiatives
• Contributing to the cloud transformation of infrastructure, focusing on modernization and efficiency
• Ensuring integration of group-wide solutions into the continental Europe architecture
• Supporting technical teams with insights on cloud and on-premise infrastructure design patterns

You’re ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong background in infrastructure design and environment management
• Proficiency in cloud technologies (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, IaaS, PaaS)
• Expertise in resilience, scalability, and security design patterns
• Experience with both Linux and Windows environments
• Knowledge of database management systems (Oracle and others)
• Ability to ensure compliance with design patterns and roadmaps
• Ability to turn business needs into detailed technical specifications
• Experience with non-functional requirements such as performance and failover
• Experience working with technical product teams and solution architects
• Fluent English

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with Agile, DevOps, or DevSecOps methodologies
• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices
• Hands-on experience as a developer
• French language proficiency
